Tezos Economy in Novemeber: Not So Bad Considering the Tez Price

Despite the situation, the Tezos ecosystem is showing growth. Especially if you consider the drop in tez price.

What’s to Consider

At the beginning of November tez was $1.4, now it is $1; the exchange rate has fallen by 30%. However, we count volumes and TVL in dollars, not in tez. That is, if the volume of app usage in dollars has only dropped by 30%, then nothing has changed in tez usage volumes. And if the volume in dollars has not changed, the usage in tez has even increased!

TVL of DeFi projects is expected to fall by an average of 20-30% due to the plummeting asset prices. At the same time, usage volumes in dollars fell by a maximum of 10%, while in terms of tokens, they grew, i.e., users did not become less active.

On NFT marketplaces, the situation is similar: dollar volumes at Objkt.com and fxhash dropped, but the number of users grew.

All in all, Tezos remains active and has every chance of surviving the bear market without much drama.
